DurolaneÆ is an therapeutic gel that is injected into joints afflicted with debilitating Osteoarthirtis in order to provide temporary relief from symptoms of pain and stiffness. DurolaneÆ is made from Hyaluronic Acid, the body’s own natural joint lubricant. It acts as to lubricate and cushion the joint. While DurolaneÆ treatment is not a permanent solution and provides only temporary relief, for many it allows a return to activities that would otherwise not be possible due to pain and/or stiffness in the joint.
